Pittsburgh weather: adding insult to injury
Tonight is the finals for Dancing with the Stars. Yeah, I've admitted before I love it, so stop laughing. It's also Monday Night Football with the Steelers, which is broadcast locally on our ABC affiliate so the finals have been pre-empted. AND because there's been lightning, the teams haven't even done their warm ups yet, so the game has been delayed. So--there's no game to show AND we still don't get to see DWTS. If Steeler football wasn't a religion in this household (and if my girl Sabrina was actually in the finals) you'd better believe I'd be much more miffed than I am now. Right now, I am just laughing my arse off at the irony.

Well, I guess things could be a lot worse. When are they going to broadcast "Dancind with The Stars" in your area. Call your local station. Flood them with a lot of call beacause they may switch it.

I've known since last week that it was going to be shown tomorrow at 9am with highlights on the 6am news tomorrow. And at this point, there's literally 10 minutes left, lol. I am just laughing at the irony of them pre-empting an 8am show that ends at 9 for a game that now won't be starting until at least 9, lol.
Nope, just a garden-variety Anglophyle, lol. As for me, I don't think I've missed a major dancing show since the 70's. I wasn't planning on being sucked in, but the whole Sabrina/Mark romance charmed me, and their dancing was superb.
As for football, it's a religion here. And I do mean religion. I've seen Masses cancelled when they interferred with the watching of certain key games. Does not bother me except on the rarest of occassions. I was born and bred in Steeler Country, after all!
